EL Design Club: Getting Started

Welcome to the Embroidery Legacy Design Club!

This quick guide will help you get started after signing up—so you can start stitching your favorite designs in no time. From accessing your library to downloading your first design, everything you need is just a scroll away. Let’s get you set up and ready to embroider!

Browsing & Downloading Designs

Visit the Embroidery Designs tab to browse by theme or category.
Use the search bar (located at the top left) to find something specific.
Filter by hoop size, sort by popularity, or explore collections.
Click the purple .zip button to use credits and download your design instantly.
Already own it? The button will say “Already Owned,” so you never use credits twice by mistake.

Managing Your Account

You can view your credit balance at the top right of any page.
Go to your Membership tab to view your renewal dates, credits, and plan information.
To cancel auto-renewal, scroll down to “Manage Subscription” and select “Cancel Membership Auto-Renewal.”
To upgrade your membership, this takes effect immediately - please be sure to use your credits beforehand.
Visit the Downloads tab anytime to re-download past designs without using new credits.

Accessing Your Member Bonuses

In your Membership tab, scroll to “Available Bonus” and click “Access Bonus.”
If you miss a month, don’t worry—bonuses released while you’re active are automatically added to your account’s download section.

Tips & FAQs

File Formats: Our embroidery designs come formatted for all popular machine brands including art, dst, exp, hus, jef, pes, shv, vip, vp3 and xxx. Try DST or EXP if you don’t see yours.
Unzipping Files: Simply double-click the zip file, select the correct file for your machine, and move it to your USB drive (or wherever your machine typically loads files).
Credits Rollover: Yes! Credits roll over as long as your membership is active. If your membership ends, any unused credits will be gone forever, so make sure you use them!
Wishlist: Click the heart on any design to save it for later—view it anytime from the top right heart icon.
Selling Items: You can sell up to 50 finished embroidered products per design or order (if you’d like to exceed this number, please contact our office). Digital file resale is not allowed outright or within adjusted designs.
