How to Use Embroidery Legacy Software on a Mac

Once you have installed and set up your Virtual Machine on the Mac, you will download and install the Embroidery Legacy Software on the Windows Operating System you have just created.

Please be aware that the amount of RAM installed on your Mac will be accessed and used for this Virtual Machine, and therefore, it is important to allot the correct amount of RAM, memory, and disk space to the Virtual Machine so as not to throttle your Mac's memory as it requires this to run the underlying Virtual Machine. Too much allotted will slow Mac operations, affecting the VM's response, and not enough will affect the operation of the ELD software and the Windows Operating System.

It is best to contact the Virtual Machine Support for the system you choose for help with setup and optimization. For this, you will ned to provide the Support team with the Specs of both your Mac and the Windows OS you have installed, as well as the base specs needed for the ELD Software.

The Embroidery Legacy Software minimum requirements are:

Desktop Recommended PC System Requirements:

– OS: Microsoft® Windows® 10, 11

– CPU: Multicore Intel® or AMD processor, 2 GHz with 64-bit support

– RAM: 8 GB

– Hard Disk Space: 1 GB

– Display Resolution: 1366×768

– Recommended for best performance RAM: 16GB

– Display Resolution: 1920×1080.

Please note that our software is not yet natively compatible with Mac computers. However, you can still run it on a Mac by using a third-party program like Parallels or Boot Camp to install and run Windows. These solutions let you use our software on your Mac without limitations.

We understand the demand for Mac compatibility and appreciate your patience as we continue to explore future possibilities.
