How do I install ESA fonts?

Please note that ESA fonts will only work with Wilcom Hatch, Wilcom E Series and Janome version 5 embroidery software.

To install ESA fonts into your Hatch or Wilcom embroidery software, simply follow these step-by-step instructions based on the software you wish to install to:

• Hatch Version 2.1
• Wilcom E4.5

Hatch Version 2.1 + Software Install Instructions

• Step 1: Go to your windows (C:) drive

• Step 2: Copy and paste “ProgramData\Wilcom\HatchEmbroidery\FONTS” to the (C:) search

  If this doesn’t work, try this path “ProgramFiles\Wilcom\HatchEmbroidery3\FONTS” to the (C:) search

• Step 3: Once you click enter you will be inside of the folder you will copy the ESA files into. A good way to do this would be to open two windows at once. Open the FONTS and the ESA file folder you want to install. Drag the .ESA font into the FONTS folder.

  Your new fonts are now installed. Restart your Wilcom Software. The new fonts will be added to the Font List in the Lettering/Monogramming Palette

Wilcom E4.5 + Software Install Instructions

• Step 1: Go to your windows (C:) drive
• Step 2: Copy and paste “Program Files\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e4.5\Fonts“ to the (C:) search

• Step 3: Once you click enter you will be inside of the folder you will copy the ESA files into. A good way to do this would be to open two windows at once. Open the FONTS and the ESA file folder you want to install. Drag the .ESA font into the FONTS folder.

  Your new fonts are now installed. Restart your Wilcom Software. The new fonts will be added to the Font List in the Lettering/Monogramming Palette
